穿刺という意味のPunctureを反骨精神のPUNKになぞらえ、15×15×15㎝のブロック形状をモジュールとし、今までの常識とは異なるファントムを作りました。手軽に穿刺トレーニングができ、ターゲットに向かって針が刺さっている様子を視認できます。

ドクター、エンジニアのアイデアで腫瘍の位置・大きさ・構造、血管を追加するなどカスタマイズできます。近い将来、○○先生ファントムといったようなラインナップが登場するかも！！

「PUNK BLOCK」シリーズではエコーガイド下RFAに限らず、CTガイド下RFA、EUS（超音波内視鏡）生検穿刺やドレナージなどに対応したファントムも展開していく予定でございます。

ファントムの特長 [Features of this Phantom]

• 簡単に準備、簡単にトレーニング。
  • Easy to set up. Easy to train.
• ファントムは透明なアクリル容器に入っていますので、ターゲットに穿刺している様子が視認できます。
  • The phantom is housed in a transparent acrylic case. So you can see the needle being inserted.
• 肋骨を模した樹脂プレートを挟むことでで難易度が上がります。
  • To make it more challenging, you can insert a resin plate that mimics the ribs under the skin sheet.
• ファントムは破れにくい素材で出来ていますので、何度でも穿刺が出来ます。ハイドロゲル由来の素材ではありませんので、乾くことはありません。
  • The phantom is made of tear-resistant material, allowing for repeated needle punctures. It is not made from a hydrogel-derived material, so it will not dry out.
• ファントム部分は金属を一切使用しておりませんので、エコー観察において不要なアーチファクトは発生しません
  • The phantom contains no metal components, preventing unwanted artifacts during ultrasound imaging. 

トレーニングの内容 [Training Contents]

• エコーで腫瘍の検出、穿刺位置・角度の確認。
  • Tumor detection using ultrasound, followed by confirmation of the puncture position and angle.
